GSPC Cultural presentation

GSPC believes in “Culture leads us to Karma”. Our cultural team is well trained in various art forms like dancing, singing, dramatics, recitation, scripting and art. The experienced and trained members dedicate their time and creativity to preserve the heritage and culture of India & Bengal. We inculcate the cultural in grooming the youngster .Our passionate volunteers and kids develop cultural shows on various forms of performing arts of India. Our productions are performed for fund raising events and at establishments in the community for edutainment.

Bong Chronicle

Bong Chronicle is a unique home production by GSPC for Saturday Oct 4. It combines dance, music, live singing and acting to depict the journey of its protagonists though childhood and youth. The scene opens with two long-lost friends walking down the memory lane growing up in Bengal. As the scene unfolds, the “adda” continues with rich cultural flavors spanning generations.

Shokti Rupena

“Shokti Rupena” showcases the concept of “Women Empowerment” with choreography based on different forms of music and poetry. It narrates various facets of women from the dusk of agony, struggle and discrimination to the dawn of vibrancy, beauty, love and freedom.The script is based on poetry by Mallika Sengupta and inspired by the thoughts of Malala, “Principles of Women Empowerment” by United Nations and other relevant research articles.The music spans from Rabindrasangeet,contemporary band to fusion instrumental.
